Every agent deserves an address.
Email was built for a world where only people read email. Someone wrote it, someone opened it, someone replied. Every rule, every client, every inbox was shaped around a pair of human eyes.
That world is gone. Today the biggest reader of email is a machine. Agents check inboxes, parse confirmations, answer customers, chase invoices. And they do it through APIs designed for a person clicking around a screen. Every message arrives padded with markup and headers nobody asked for. Thousands of tokens to learn one thing. And even then you only get half the service: reading is one call, replying is another product, sending needs a third, and nobody tells you when something new lands.
Pombus is a real mailbox. You open it in an app that looks like the email you already know. Your agent opens the same mailbox through the API. Same inbox, same history, same threads. The agent sees what you allowed it to see and does what you allowed it to do. Nothing more.
It is light on tokens because it was designed that way, not patched later. Clean JSON with only the fields that matter. Webhooks that tell you the moment mail arrives, so nobody has to poll. Scoped keys, one per agent, so a key for billing cannot touch sales.
